Vienna/Bratislava

January 16-19, 2009 Lisa Marie, Shawnelle, and I ventured to Vienna and Bratislava for a 4 day weekend. Our first day in Vienna was a little slow because we were all sleep deprived before leaving for our trip. On Saturday we drove to Bratislava to explore the city and stumbled upon an amazing Tapas Lounge. In fact, it was so good that Sunday evening we drove back to Bratislava just to have dinner at this Tapas Lounge. I didn't know what to expect from this trip. Vienna is known for their musically and artistically inclined residents but beyond that I didn't know what the city would have to offer. Our first full day in Vienna, on our way to watch the Vienna Choir Boys perform, we exited the U-bahn station and were surrounded by a large, grandoise building and we all looked at each other and said, "This is Vienna!" It's beauty is truely held in the buildings, monuments, and arts throughout the city. Enjoy. more pictures
